Rachel is a general psychologist currently completing her Masters of Psychology (Clinical). She has previous experience in a primary school setting where she was responsible for child cognitive testing (WISC-V & WIAT-III) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based interventions targeting issues including Separation Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, emotional regulation issues, interpersonal communication skills, and coping with major life stressors. Rachel prioritises establishing a positive therapeutic relationship with clients through the use of an engaging and collaborative approach to therapy. Rachel endeavours to provide a safe therapeutic space for all clients.
Rachel utilises an evidence-based approach to working with children, adolescents, and adults, primarily through the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Based Therapy.
Days available: Every 2nd Wednesday afternoon (telehealth only) and Friday (face to face).
